Is Yoga and Vedantha relevant today? Can it be applied to peoples and societies of the 21st century irrespective of region, race, religion or culture? Don’t technological advancements such as artificial intelligence, robotics, machine learning or genetic engineering make all study of Subject Reality irrelevant? Did our Great Sages not see this coming?

These are some of the questions that motivated the author to launch this site.

Gurus: Seen and Unseen

Being deeply indebted to all Gurus seen and unseen in the current mortal realm, the author feels duty bound to share subjective experiences. His learning includes teachings of Lord Dakshnamurthi (who teaches through Silence), Sage Adi Shankara Bhagawadpada, Maharishi Patanjali, Vidharanya Maharishi, Swami Vivekananda, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Yogiraj Vedathri Maharishi, Bhagwan Rajneesh (Osho), Jiddu Krishnamurti, Swami Omkaranandha, Ramana Maharishi, Meher Baba and others.

This is being presented solely to ensure that the reader understands the source of the author’s words.

Experiences and words

Though the author strives to provide a firsthand account, many a times the words of the wise (aagamas) are more expressive, eloquent than accounts of his own direct perception (pratyaksha) or interpretations (anumanas). The author feels that the Kindness of the Almighty and the Great Sages are solely responsible for the chance that the author got to listen, read and grasp some of their timeless teachings and feels duty bound to share them.

Having been initiated into Kundalini Yoga in early 90s and the subsequent flowering of Intelligence, the author’s life has never been the same again. The process of transformation from what should be to what is goes on till this day.
